How to Use Your Braun Age Precision™ Thermometer 3 Simple Steps: 1. Switch on the thermometer by pressing the On/O button
Y ouwillhearashortbeepanddisplaysegmentcheckwillbeper formed.Afterthesegmentcheck,last
temperaturereadingwillbedisplay edfor2seconds.Subsequently,theageiconsandagerangewill
cycle,untiltheAgePr ecisionbuttonispressed.
2. Select the age by pressing the AgePrecision™ button
WhentheAgePrecision™butt onispressed,theagerangeiconswillstopcycling ,andstopontheage
range icon that was showing when the button was pr essed. Keep pressing the button until the desired
agesettingisdisplayed. Thethermometerhas3agesettings:
• 0-3months
• 3-36months
• 36monthsuptoanadult
Aftertheageisselected,theagerangeiconremainssteadilylit.
Thedisplaywillshowthreedashedlinesandthethermometer
is ready to start the measurement.
3. T ake the measurement by placing it on the measurement site.
Oncetemperatureriseisdetectedbythermometerinmeasuremen tmode,itwillbegintomeasure .
Ifthethermometerdoesn’tmeasur eatemperaturerise,theageiconandthr eedashedlineswillbe
shown until the thermometer automatically turns o .
Aftermeasurement(generally8secondsaftertemperatur echangeisdetected),theconrmation
beepindicatesthatanaccuratetemper aturemeasurementhasbeentaken:1longbeepfornormal
temperature,10shortbeepsforelevatedandhight emperature. Theresultwillbeshownonthe

Can I switch to Fahrenheit
I'm following the instructions to change it to Farenheit and it won't change
It just buzzes but does not turn on to take temperature. I annot turn off that sound either or the thermometer to try again.
