Power • Do not overl oad w all outlets, ext ension cords, or adaptors
beyond their voltage and c apacity. It ma y c ause fire or

Refer to the power specifications section of the manual
and/ or the po wer suppl y label on the product f or voltage
and amperage inf ormation.
• Power -supply cor ds should be placed so that the y ar e not

Providing proper ventilation for your TV When y ou install your TV , maintain a distance of at least 10
cm between the TV and other objects (w alls, cabinet sides,
etc.) to ensur e proper ventilation. F ailing to maintain proper
ventilation may result in a fire or a problem with the product
caused by an increase in its int ernal temperatur e.
• When y ou install your TV with a stand or without a
stand, we strongl y r ecommend you use parts pro vided
by Samsung Electronics onl y . Using parts provided by
another manufactur er may cause diffic ulties with the
product or result in injury c aused by the product falling.
Operation • This apparatus uses batteries. In your community, there
might be environmental r egulations that requir e you to
dispose of these batteries pr operly . Please contact your
local authorities f or disposal or r ecycling information.
• Store the accessories (r emote control, or etc.) in a location
safely out of the r each of childr en.
• Do not drop or strike the product. If the product is
damaged, disconnect the pow er cable and c ontact a
Samsung service centr e.
• Do not dispose of remot e control or batteries in a fire.
• Do not short-cir cuit, disassemble, or overheat the
batteries.
• CAUTION: Ther e is danger of an explosion if y ou replace
the batteries used in the r emote with the wrong ty pe of
battery . Replace onl y with the same or equivalent type.

Safety Precaution Caution: Pulling, pushing, or climbing
on the TV may cause the TV to fall. In
particular , ensure your children do not
hang on or destabilise the TV . This action
may cause the TV to tip over , causing
serious injuries or death. Foll ow all safety
precautions pr ovided in the Saf ety Flyer
included with your TV .
W ARNING: Never place a television set in an
unstable location. The television set ma y f all,
causing serious personal injury or death. Many
injuries, particularly to chil dren, can be a voided
by taking simple pr ecautions such as:
• Alwa ys use cabinets or stands or mounting methods
recommended b y Samsung.
• Alwa ys use furniture that can safel y support the tele vision
set.
• Alwa ys ensure the television set is not o verhanging the
edge of the supporting furniture.
• Alwa ys educate chil dren about the dangers of climbing
on furniture to reach the television set or its controls.
• Alwa ys route cords and cabl es connected to your
television so they cannot be tripped over , pulled or
grabbed.
• Never place a television set in an unstable l ocation.
• Never place the television set on tall furniture (f or
example , cupboards or bookcases) without anchoring
both the furniture and the tele vision set to a suitable
support.
• Never place the television set on cl oth or other materials
that may be located betw een the tel evision set and
supporting furniture.
• Never place items that might tempt childr en to climb,
such as toy s and remote contr ols, on the t op of the
television or furniture on which the tel evision is placed.
If the existing t elevision set is going t o be retained and
reloc ated, the same considerations as abo ve should be
applied.
• When y ou have t o reloc ate or lift the TV for replacement or
cleaning, be sure not to pull out the stand.
Caring for the TV • T o clean this apparatus, unplug the power cable from the
wall outlet and wipe the pr oduct with a soft, d ry cloth.
Do not use any chemicals such as wax, benzene , alcohol,
thinners, insecticide, aerial fr esheners, lubricants, or
detergents . These chemicals can damage the appear ance
of the TV or erase the printing on the product.
• The exterior and screen of the TV can get scratched during
cleaning. Be sure t o wip e the exterior and screen carefull y
using a soft cloth to pr event scr atches.
• Do not spray water or any liquid directly onto the TV . An y
liquid that goes into the product ma y c ause a failur e, fir e,
or electric shock.
